May:)

I am sitting here alone this afternoon, and very glad of it:) DH has taken Grace to a local festival! I need alone time, I have realized! I am listening to multiple kinds of music, and singing along...also something I need.
I am a musical person at heart. I went to school for Opera initially, and music is still very much a part of me. I think I'd keel over if forced to *NOT* sing/have music around me. I *need* it.
That said, we went to the zoo yesterday, as we hadn't been in a while. I realized something...
Grace *needs* nature. She needs it like I need music. The very same thing. She just withers up and blows away without it. It speaks to her. What a beautiful thing!

Skirting the rules of the Butterfly Observation Room at the Zoo...Grace decides that if she holds very still and "becons" the Butterflies, then it isn't she who is touching them, but rather THEY who are landing on her. Very clever, Grace. ;)

From Hugo Cabret...uncanny, isn't it?

Boo!!

It was so nice to hear from you today, and I followed your link to discover you are writing here again. I haven't been for ages because I assumed you'd stopped writing.

Very exciting that you're writing a children's book. Best of luck! I think Grace's drawings are amazing.

I will bookmark you ... can I also link to you, or are you staying private?

Hugs!
