Carl flew down a week later, and we've all been having a marvelous time!

Playing with Ami!



We took some of Grandma's statues up North to a foundry for bronzing and took a tour of the facility. It was extremely interesting! I never would have guessed that the process of bronzing a statue was that complicated. We were all surprised at the "artistry" of the foundry staff, which they need in spades to bring out the life in one's creation! Some of the statues, complete with different patinas( colors or hues of the bronze) were absolutely breathtaking..
We then continued over the mountains to a nearby Ghost Town". The view of the valley was so beautiful, that I just had to take a picture! We then continued down the mountain, after lunch, and headed to a nearby monument. The winds were 50 m.p.h, so I am surprised that Grace is standing up in the photo! :D


Grace couldn't help "saving" this tumbleweed...


Finally, Yesterday, we went to a baseball game, and then to view the starts up North, in honor of Galileo's 400th anniversary! ( No pictures of that though :( )
