Boing! Spring Has Sprung Early:)

Grace has been having fun building whimsical structures out of her interestingly-shaped Blocks. This one was all balanced on a single, smaller block. She loves this kind of thing!

Grace and I have been using the book "Darwin for Kids" lately as a guide for both nature journaling (taxonomy and naturalist) and the study of evolution and how it works. She did above experiment this week, and since we used radish seeds, they should sprout fairly quickly!

Grace's homeschool group went to a history day at a local living history museum and Grace had a ball!! ( as usual...she was looking for her "friends" , a group of volunteers she's met and gotten to know there over the years ! )
We also took Rusty down to the beach for Grace's obligatory look-see and appraisal of the week, and did plenty of fun school work;)

I love the "school" you are doing! I really love the first photo of Grace. She looks like she is in another time, like a Swedish girl.

Oh we love that book! It lead to a tracking of the geography of the Beagle's travels and lots of interesting stuff. And history museums are every kid's favorite-nothing can compare to being there!
