After spending the morning doing school work and grocery shopping, Grace and I met up with some friends at the beach. Yes, you read that correctly. It is April and the kids were in their bathing suits at the beach! It was an absolutely LOVELY day. Grace and the other children amused themselves by wading in the ocean, digging holes, burying each other and collecting shells! My friend snapped the above shot of a ladybug on a rock near the shore. He was just too cool to pass up! Thanks for a great day!
Thursday was a great day too! Grace her special buddy, her mom and I went to the shore near the secret house and let the girls explore the estuary. To make a long story short, the girls returned and Grace was COVERED in mud! I nearly asked her where she got that way so I could go too;) It really is a fun thing to be a kid! She was very concerned though, because she lost a shoe in the suction of some mud that was up to her thighs. I told her not to worry, but she was very distraught. Shoes, we can et more of, but Grace is one-of-a-kind!

Oh, how fun that looked! And what lovely pictures of Grace those are. I can't believe it either, but school is gradually sliding toward the finish line, so I guess it must be so.
