Have I mentioned lately that we LOVE or library? It was newly built within 2 years, and is an oasis of solitude and joy! Grace has a lot of fun just "hanging out" there, as do I. Carl doesn't get the chance to go as much, but he likes it too...from afar.
Yesterday, Grace and I found a stack of books in the short time we were there. A couple of them are pretty interesting!
1. Tales From the Odyssey by Osborne, which is a very short and easy series that Grace can "snack on" over the week. We got five out of six books.
2.Ten Queens by Meltzer These are ten portraits of queens throughout history. The writing appears to be very good.
The librarians are really cool, although our favorite, named for a french painter, has sadly moved on to a sought-after position in a High School nearby. She is missed.
I have a feeling that this library will become a close memory for Grace, as my library was for me, and Carl's was for him. This is one memory I am glad to help make!
Here's to our local libraries, and here's to the people who make them possible!

That is a gorgeous building.
That is a beautiful library!
What a huge library. We would love to spend the afternoon in here. Faith and Grace could read all day.
Awesome! Our library is small, but they really try to make the most of what they have.
