A Week Alone

Carl was gone to meetings and his Gradmother's Funeral this week, and we missed him! He is a brave person to be away from his family, as we know he is something of a home-body.
To pass the time, Grace:
~read several books
~drew fairies with a friend
~played outside
~collected pottery from the sea and the stream
~went to Ju Jutsu
~danced with a self-billed Jewish Children's entertainer in the park with a new friend and an old friend ( The woman was WONDERFUL!)
~Had a long playdate with her imagination friend ( not to be confused with "imaginary" friend...)
~went to see Wall-E with friends
~Had lunch and dinner with several friends
~pretended to be an elf from LOTR with a friend
~had a 20 hour sleep-over
~ played piano
~played Spore Creature Creator and her 33 Druid on WOW
~found a mentor for her water project
~missed Daddy
~made her own breakfast
~cleaned her room without me asking
~viewed Totoro
~observed several wildlife species, such as Swallows, Koi, Egret, Gulls and Squirrels
~went swimming and nearly DOVE in :)

I may have found a job as a "Standardizd Patient" for fun! I would be helping train med students while portraying someone with a certain injury or disease!

It was a good week!
Now we can't wait to see Carl tonight! :)
