We took a family visit to the Museum of Natural History, and Carl got to see Grace's favorite exhibit for the first time, since it has been changed!
My little Australopithecus! Grace is 49 inches and change, so that gives you an idea of the childlike size of these guys!

We are SO having an origami tree next year!! Check out the T Rex on the left!!
She's pensive in the train ride home, and very glad of her new "friend", whom she named "BaiLin" ( pronounced bay-lin), as he's a panda from China. :)
She has a cool class today at a local art museum. The instructor will be teaching tehm about Tiffany stained glass, and the kids will have sketch books with them in order to capture designs, one can only assume!

Wow - What a great family day! I hope she likes the art class today, too. It's so nice for you all to have some really good family time! Keep up the fun!
Ah..we almost drove in this week, but DH was willing to paint the kitchen, and I needed to "catch"
the mood. ;-)
Glad you've been having so much fun!
Wow! That is all so cool!
I am looking at your NHM pics thinking "I was there!"
But I would have loved to see that origami decorated tree! That is SOOOO awesome!
And her class sounds totally cool too!
Happy Holidays!
That's a really neat tree. It sounds like it was a wonderful day. And the glass class sounds very interesting. She looks very cute with her new "friend".
OMG -- Violet would be so jealous of that museum. I am jealous myself!
Great photos -- looks like a really good time.
