It's a New Day.

Grace and I watched the Inauguration today. It was incredible. Words cannot express my pride at being American today.
Yes. We did.
Now the hard work of creating tomorrow begins.

Ten Percent of us will remain bitter, resentful and suspicious.
To those folks who bought the sound-bite rhetoric and fell prey to the Fox News machine, I say to you:
"I feel for you and I am willing to do that extra 10% more for the betterment of our country". Please join us when you feel you are ready. You are very welcome.

It has been an inspiring three days. I am annoyed to hear people still calling Obama supporters delusional worshippers, when in fact, I think what Obama has been saying is true -- *we* are pulling together, *we* are rejecting the politics of the past, *we* are ready to put aside childish things and move forward.

I think what makes everyone so excited is *us*, and what makes us cheer for Obama is that his was the campaign that got people believing it was possible. I don't know anyone who believes Obama has some magic ability to solve these massive problems, just that he has the leadership skills to bring more people together around solving problems by calling on the best of each of us.

That, and no more torture.

Woo hoo!
