Grace has accumulated a bit of cash over the year, from various tooth fairies and relatives, for various occasions. She has been saving for quite a while for something "big and significant". Well...she figured out what she wanted and, on Sunday, Carl took her to go and get it!
Wii all love it. It's shiny and cool, and I can't wait to be a Jedi and play Zelda. Yes, it is indeed geek-out time! Did I mention I LOVE my kid, who seems to drag me , kicking and screaming, into the 21st century?

Cool! Our wii just arrived from amazon today! We got Z Animal Crossing, the game that she is obsessed with. She is so happy. She has been going around the house all day singing the praises of her wonderful wii giving parents. LOL>

I have thought really hard about getting one, but I'm not a gamer,
and DH prefers computer games, and when we "bounce" in our living room..so does everything else in the room.;-)
Good for Grace! That's neat when they save their money for something big. The purchase becomes more meaningful.
I love the wii. We have one at school. However yesterday I used it for awhile and my forearms are hurting from running so fast in Sonic vs Mario Olympics. We also want to get one but we want the big screen t.v to go with it.
