Hey! Who Turned Up the Heat?!?
So we've gone through a nice heat wave, here at the Secret House this weekend. We had temperatures in the 100's, and I'll let you know if the weather service is incorrect yet again! Grace , Carl and I went to the beach on Saturday, where Grace learned to use her snorkel. On Sunday, we went to see "Kung Fu Panda" , which was actually good. Then Grace played in the sprinkler, while Carl and I made some more home improvements. Monday was the hottest yet! We went to the private pool with some friends, which was very relaxing. Then the kids decided we'd go down to the private beach and swim. It was LOVELY. The water was warm, and the tide was up! Gosh , I sure do love that place!

I can second that thought on how hot it is. Grace sure looks cute with her headband. Try to keep cool!

I love the way her hair is styled! I bet it is terrible with not a lot of places having central air.

I am sure it is bad for those who do not have air:( It reminds me of the ineer city in Chicago, when the older people woul ddie in the heat waves, due to lack of air conditioning:(
Our air conditioning is stellar. Grace and I often have to put on another layer... We keep it up so that teh house will not be humid.
